I am particulary fond of japanese tins and have been gathering them since the very beginning of my collection im 1994. The illustrations are refined and colourful while their subjects are often serious. They can be related to artistical world with music and dance scenes, or to historical events and mythical places or figures: Napoleon, Wars, Castle of Chillon, the advent of radiobroadcasting, Charlie Chaplin and so on. Enjoy the discovery of all my japanese tins till now : 1061 pieces - a kind of a collection inside the collection!
Even if you get the feeling sometimes to see two identic tins, all of them are different! The difference can be in the number of needles, the size of the tin, even if the tin has a hinge or not (which is not apparent on the picture), or other details. Have fun !
